When clergy facilitates a service, the payment they receive is called an "Honorarium" which is in addition to the salary they receive from their church. The amount paid to a Celebrant is their livelihood. An average Celebrant service in Northwest Ohio, Southeastern Michigan costs approximately $200-$400. Sharon wants to be of service to families and therefore keeps her costs very reasonable.

Celebrant work is a specialized job created to provide personalized services for  families when they lose someone they love. Sharon takes the time to introduce herself to the family and stays in touch with them from the time they initially speak until they part a little while after the service.

Sharon takes great care and invests many hours to prepare a meaningful service remembering the life of the loved one. She believes it is an honor, and deeply appreciates that honor, of being able to share the family's grief journey with them for the period of time they are together.

Several years of experience in providing personalized religious and non-religious services, truly caring about the families she serves, dedication to providing the best service she can based on the information provided by the family, and a passion for this work are what Sharon has to offer. Her goal is to provide a special service that reflects the personality, attributes, and lifestyle of the deceased.
